The Health Benefits and Risks of Alcohol Consumption

Let us face it; almost all people on this planet drink alcohol. People have their personal reasons why they enjoy drinking alcoholic beverages.   • Increases your risk of pancreatitis. Drinking excessive amount of alcohol can cause the pancreas to produce toxic substances that can result to pancreatitis, which prevents proper digestion. 
  • Birth defects. Drinking during pregnancy can increase the risk of brain damage and other serious health problems in a baby. Medical experts advised women not to drink any alcoholic beverages during pregnancy.
